Agency approves eight permits, delays project over wetland concerns
Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Agency · Meeting of February 26, 2026
CT GREENWICH — Greenwich agency approves eight development permits but delays single-family home over environmental concerns. The Inland Wetlands Agency unanimously granted permits for five pools, a demolition-rebuild residence, a deck-garage expansion, and storage maintenance. Chairman Elliot Benton postponed the 17 Pleasant View Place single-family home, directing applicant Tatiana Astankova to submit alternatives reducing impacts from a 3,500-square-foot house that would disturb 70 percent of a steep wooded 0.6-acre lot within the wetland buffer.
The Agency upheld a violation against Shannon Otte for unauthorized deer fencing and set a $5,040 application fee for unauthorized tree removal at 49 Indian Mill Road.
