Greenwich wetlands agency approves six residential and municipal projects

CT GREENWICH — Inland Wetlands Agency unanimously approved six environmental applications at its June 22 meeting. The Greenwich agency cleared projects ranging from residential improvements through the Town's sanitary sewer rehabilitation program affecting properties from East Weaver Street to Booth Court. Agency Chair Elliot Benton and Director Beth Evans oversaw approvals including a North Street residential addition contingent on tree preservation, a Doubling Road recreational complex adding 12,000 square feet of impervious surface, and Round Hill Club's removal of 23 trees with required replanting.

The Agency upheld a violation order against 290 Riversville Road for unauthorized construction, establishing a July 20 compliance deadline.
