Greenwich Town Meeting approves $1.3M for winter snow removal

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich's Representative Town Meeting approves $1.3 million for winter snow removal. Commissioner of Public Works James Michel's appropriation request passed 181 in favor, 1 against, and 1 abstention, covering highway overtime, equipment rental, materials, and parking services. Separately, the RTM appointed Donna LaViolette, Jenny Larkin, Bernard Armstrong, and Joui Hessel to municipal boards and allocated $142,700 in grant funds to departmental accounts on the consent calendar, with 189 votes in favor and 1 abstention.
