Central Middle School construction wins $6 million appropriation

CT GREENWICH — RTM approves $6 million Central Middle School construction appropriation and bonds. The meeting voted 190 in favor, 4 opposed to appropriate the funds, then authorized $6 million in general obligation bonds with a vote of 185 in favor, 9 opposed. Joe Rossetti, Chairman of the Central Middle School Building Committee, presented both resolutions.
The RTM also voted 159 to 32 to approve a Municipal Improvement application to replace the Dorothy Hamill Rink and relocate Strazza Field within Eugene Morlot Memorial Park, and voted 100 to 60 to approve the town's automatic traffic enforcement safety devices plan for submission to the Department of Transportation.
