Nathaniel Witherell reports favorable quality trends; Family Council advances resident improvements

CT GREENWICH — Nathaniel Witherell expands IV certification for all registered nurses. The facility's Quality of Life and Care committees reported favorable trends in clinical quality measures, with Director of Nursing John Anantharaj noting that real-time monitoring shows declining fall injuries, psychotropic drug use, and pressure ulcers. The Family Council advanced resident-centered improvements including first names on room doors and added table linens at meals.

A recent state survey identified 21 findings the facility seeks to reduce to 17.
