Selectmen advance four proposals to second read

CT GREENWICH — Selectmen set stage for committee expansion and flag ceremonies on second read. The board voted to move Selectwoman Rabin's proposal to expand the Energy Management Advisory Commission from seven to nine members to second reading, citing the need to better support five concurrent building committees. Flag-raising requests for the Ecuadorian flag on August 7 and the 1776 colonial flag on Constitution Day also advance to second read, along with the Historic District Commission's study into local historic designation for 35 Maher Avenue.
