Selectmen approve building committee term limits ordinance
Board of Selectmen · Meeting of February 26, 2026
CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Selectmen approved building committee term limits to allow leadership changes. The ordinance, moved by Selectwoman Lauren Rabin and approved unanimously, allows committees to elect new officers when existing leaders cannot carry out their duties. The board also unanimously approved two traffic ordinance amendments: a two-hour timed parking provision for residential streets and electric vehicle charging station designation on town property.
In related business, the board closed a public hearing on a noise variance request from Burning Tree Country Club for a summer event and deferred to March a decision on selling seven properties acquired through tax foreclosure.
