Shellfish Commission moves to develop enforcement document

CT GREENWICH — Commission agrees on enforcement document to strengthen dock application oversight in Greenwich. The commission reached consensus to create a Shellfish Management Document using the state template, with Sue Baker noting it will enable enforcement authority over dock applications. Michael Long reported that DABA opened shellfish beds June 1, though recreational beds remain closed for the season.

Planning advanced for the Experience the Sound event, with Roger Bowgen coordinating a raw bar setup and Joan Sequin scheduling spat hat placement for June 13-15.
