Audit Committee accepts town's audited financial reports

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Audit Committee accepts audited financials with clean opinion and approves Phase 5 audit plan. The committee voted 3-0-0 to accept the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for fiscal 2025 and State Single Audit, with external auditors RSM US LLP issuing unmodified clean opinions finding no material weaknesses or noncompliance. Chair Matt DesChamps led approval of the Phase 5 audit schedule encompassing five-year plans for HR GPS systems, IT infrastructure, school lunch program, student activities, and golf course operations.

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP's draft parking audit rated the department "Satisfactory" overall and identified nine findings covering permit allocation, meter revenue reconciliation, violation tracking, and cashiering controls.
