Board of Selectmen · Meeting of January 22, 2026
CT GREENWICH — Board of Selectmen approves traffic ordinance and flag raising slate. The three-member board voted unanimously to approve amendments to traffic ordinances Schedules 1B, I, and IV designed to address parking and stopping concerns, with Deputy Chief of Police James Bonney presenting the changes. The board also unanimously approved the 2026 slate of flag raisings, which will include ceremonies handled by American Legion Post 29 for veterans and Armed Forces events.
Several matters are continued for decision within two weeks: a parking restriction proposal for Loughlin Avenue, the Safe Streets Greenwich Safety Action Plan commitment to eliminate traffic fatalities by 2040, and a request for a noise ordinance variance for an outdoor concert at Burning Tree Country Club.
