Board endorses federal safety plan, defers construction items
Board of Selectmen · Meeting of May 14, 2026
CT GREENWICH — Board of Selectmen approves federal safety plan, delays community input on three construction items. The Board unanimously endorsed the Safe Streets Action Plan, a federally funded initiative to guide road safety improvements across town. First Selectman Fred Camillo, Selectwoman Lauren Rabin, and Selectperson Rachel Khanna deferred votes on three projects—a residential parking permit for Division Street, a Glenville Road milling and paving closure June 21 to 25, and utility work at Central Middle School construction sites—until their next meeting, allowing two weeks for public feedback.
The board also unanimously approved the 2026 Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act Program, matching local businesses with nonprofits for community projects, and confirmed nine appointments to town boards and commissions.
