Committee Clears Prior Minutes; Hears Outdoor Dining Details

CT GREENWICH — The Greenwich Advisory Committee for People With Disabilities received updates on outdoor dining and school projects. The committee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and heard from Patrick LaRow, Director of Planning and Zoning, on outdoor dining accessibility requirements taking effect May 22. Twelve businesses are participating in the program, which requires at least one accessible dining seat per location.
School building projects are advancing with the JCS ribbon-cutting set for September 14 and architect selection underway for other projects. State Representative Tina Courpas updated the committee on Connecticut legislation including universal free breakfast in public schools.
