Greenwich Commission on Aging votes to expand board

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Commission on Aging adds two seats to expand to nine. Chair Conrad Levy led the Commission through a vote that added the two seats to the board, with Heidi Nolte abstaining; the Board of Selectmen had previously authorized the expansion. Executive Director Lori Contadino also announced the hiring of Amanda DeMaio as the new Program Specialist, starting August 3.

In other business, the Commission discussed underutilized programs Share The Fare and Tech Connect, and planned a July 28 joint meeting with Friends of the Wallace Center to discuss capital fundraising.
