Harbor commission backs late-mooring fee surcharge pending legal review

CT GREENWICH — The Greenwich Harbor Management Commission unanimously approved a 50 percent surcharge for late mooring applications, effective May 1. Chairman Ty Anderson and the commission added $50 to the existing $100 application fee, pending law department confirmation. With 192 private moorings paid to date and 136 renewals pending, Finance Chair Rick Kriskey reported the budget remains sound as renewal payments arrive.

The commission also unanimously approved purchasing an underwater commercial lift bag, not to exceed $750, for Harbor Master Paul Cappiali.
