Harbor commission rejects dock application over setback violation concern

Harbor Management Commission · Meeting of March 18, 2026

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Harbor Commission rejects proposed dock application over setback concerns. Harbor Management Commission Chairman Ty Anderson moved, seconded by Commissioner Jenny Larkin, to recommend denial of a 4-40 dock application at 633 Steamboat Road, citing inconsistency with the HMC Plan and concerns that the proposed placement infringes on a required 25-foot setback to an adjacent property. In other business, the commission tabled consideration of a late-renewal fee to October 2026 and reported that as of March 16, it had processed 239 mooring renewals with 84 still incomplete.
