Nathaniel Witherell Quality Committee addresses family concerns on communication and food portions
Nathaniel Witherell Board · Meeting of March 11, 2026
CT GREENWICH — Nathaniel Witherell's Quality of Life/Care Committee heard family and resident concerns over communication and dining service. The Family Council raised four issues: delayed communication regarding recent salon service disruptions, inconsistent updates to the facility website, overly large meal portions contrary to resident requests, and the need for a clearer process to address concerns. Committee Chair Peggy Martino agreed to follow up with facility leadership.
Separately, IT Director Zachary Cesare presented quarterly quality-measure trends and conducted a board education session on CMS star-rating formation; Associate Director of Nursing Ann Kozar reported ongoing compliance work to address six identified compliance tags.
