Selectmen approve four appointments, defer dining and settlement decisions

Board of Selectmen · Meeting of March 26, 2026

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Selectmen approve four appointments to town committees and historic district study. The Board of Selectmen unanimously appointed Ronald Carasella to the Citizens Police Advisory Committee, Sam Romeo to the Greenwich Communities Board of Commissioners, Sarah Harris to the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency, and Tom Broadhurst to the Selectmen's Nominations Advisory Committee. The board also approved the Historic District Commission's request to study 341 North Street, designed by architect John Russell Pope, for possible historic designation.

Three items; outdoor dining fee regulations, participation in a national opioid settlement potentially worth approximately $97,825 for Greenwich, and an Americans with Disabilities Act grievance from resident Laureen Taylor; were continued to the April 9 meeting.
