Selectmen expand Commission on Aging to nine members
Board of Selectmen · Meeting of July 9, 2026
CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Board of Selectmen unanimously expands Commission on Aging to nine members. Selectperson Rachel Khanna initiated the expansion to boost the commission's capacity to serve older adults, and First Selectman Fred Camillo said a larger board would be more proactive in its work. The board also unanimously approved flag-raising ceremonies for the Ecuadorian flag on Aug. 7 and GEMS' 40th anniversary on July 15, along with five committee appointments and a conflict waiver for Wofsey, Rosen, Kewskin & Kuriansky, LLP.
Several items were deferred for second reads, including flag policy amendment, road closure for St. Roch's Feast (Aug. 12-15), and construction variance request for 19 Benedict Place.
