Arch Street Task Force narrows scope to building, not entire park

FS Arch Street Task Force · Meeting of March 6, 2026

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Arch Street Task Force reviews building's commercial history and future. The 13-member task force, led by First Selectman Fred Camillo, met to assess the Arch Street building's past and explore future uses, determining the structure is zoned for municipal uses and nonprofits while commercial operations would require a zoning change. The Budget Committee allocated 250 thousand dollars to advance Baldwin Park designs and additional funding for Holly Hill, which will relocate Parks and Recreation from Arch Street within three years.

The task force rejected expanding its scope to include broader park redevelopment already underway.
