Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 8, 2026

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Conservation Commission approves invasive species education initiative for 2026. Directed by Beth Evans in collaboration with the Sustainability Committee and town partners, the initiative will address aquatic and terrestrial invasive plants and animals through education and outreach, including a "Conservation Coffee Hour" kickoff for late January or February. The Commission voted unanimously to approve prior meeting minutes and opted not to establish a formal subcommittee; staff will coordinate with active member participation.

The fish ladder's counter model is nearing retirement, with budget implications for replacement under review.
