CT GREENWICH — The Greenwich Conservation Commission reviewed environmental initiatives and preparation for implementing city policy. Director of Environmental Affairs Beth Evans reported the town is preparing to launch its gas-powered leaf blower policy and has received tree grant funding. The Commission unanimously approved the February 5 minutes and heard from the Sustainability Committee regarding state environmental bills.

The town is expanding its 24-hour food scrap bin program to increase resident composting opportunities.
