Greenwich Health Board backs revised immunization schedule

Board of Health · Meeting of May 26, 2026

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Health Board endorses revised immunization schedule. The Board of Health voted 5-0, with two members absent, to support the revised CDC-recommended child and adolescent immunization schedule for ages 18 or younger. Workforce Development Coordinator Mary Keller outlined staff training initiatives since January 2025 focused on health equity and core competencies, including emergency preparedness activities such as anthrax tabletop exercises and point-of-dispensing training.

Director Caroline C. Baisley reported on hantavirus monitoring, with no confirmed U.S. cases but ongoing surveillance given Greenwich residents' extensive international travel and an international cruise outbreak.
