CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Board defers vote on childhood vaccine schedule recommendation, postpones decision to May 18. Board Chair Sarah Mildred Gamble, D.O., said corrections to the draft resolution will be submitted for the Board's May meeting. The Board also heard that the Dental Health Program screened 5,217 of 5,690 K-8 students, a 92 percent participation rate, with 19 percent referred for dental treatment.
Program coordinator Linda Conti reported plans to expand fluoride varnish treatment to kindergarten in the 2026-2027 school year. Director of Environmental Services Michael Long reported that sewer line grouting completed in October at Byram Beach has reduced bacteria levels in the Tom's Brook watershed, with ongoing monitoring to continue.
