Board of Health · Meeting of January 20, 2026
CT GREENWICH — Board of Health reviews GEMS operations, defers vaccine schedule discussion. Emergency Medical Services reported 5,190 calls and 3,491 patient transports year-to-date, with operating revenue of $6.8 million running 2 percent ahead of budget as of January 31, according to Executive Director Tracy Schietinger and Finance Director Tom Miserendino. The board heard briefings on winter storm response coordination, a bioterrorism drill, and special clinical services including treatment of 29 sexually transmitted infection patients in 2025 and one mpox case; a proposed discussion of CDC childhood vaccine schedule changes was deferred to a future meeting.
