Greenwich Representative Town Meeting approves $1.061 million North Street Bridge project

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich Representative Town Meeting authorizes $1.061 million for North Street Bridge. Commissioner of Public Works James Michel secured the vote for both a $1,061,000 appropriation and authorization to issue general obligation bonds over five fiscal years, with the bond authorization passing 171 to 2 with 4 abstentions. The town also elected Alexis Voulgaris as Moderator and Katherine N.
LoBalbo as Moderator Pro Tempore, approved revised meeting dates with a 197-2 vote, and confirmed board appointments to the Human Services Board, school building committees, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Inland Wetlands Agency through a 191-4 consent calendar vote.
