Sustainability Committee organizes Earth Day report as resiliency funding faces budget cuts

CT GREENWICH — The Sustainability Committee approved prior meeting minutes unanimously and launched its annual State of Sustainability Report, due by Earth Day with submissions from each sector due April 1. Shannon K. Fitzgerald volunteered to help format the report.
The committee received notice that the Board of Estimate and Taxation's Budget Committee removed part of the Department of Public Works resiliency funding due to insufficient language specificity, though funding for electric leaf blowers remained in the budget.
