Board approves $8.2 million Old Greenwich School expansion project

CT GREENWICH — Board of Estimate and Taxation approves $8.2 million Old Greenwich School expansion. The Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation voted unanimously to approve an $8,177,174 appropriation for the Old Greenwich School expansion and renovation project, including a $480,393 roof replacement and increased contingency funding conditioned on building committee documentation. The original $6,277,940 proposal was amended twice by board member Stephen Selbst; Leslie Tarkington opposed both amendments.
The board also approved a $1,061,000 North Street Bridge rehabilitation appropriation.
