Board of Human Services · Meeting of March 17, 2026

CT GREENWICH — Board of Human Services hears Fair Rent Commission workload surge. The Greenwich Board of Human Services, with eight members present under Chair Patty Roberts, unanimously approved January minutes and heard Commissioner Demetria Nelson report that the Fair Rent Commission has already surpassed prior-year complaint volumes with several months remaining, with one long-term complicated case resolved through mediation. The Client Relations Committee is launching a revised client satisfaction survey in April using three distribution methods; historical response rates have averaged 25 percent of active clients.

The Communications Committee coordinated Greenwich Sentinel coverage of the department's campership program and plans additional outreach to the Representative Town Meeting.
