Law Committee approves FY27 budget, retirement board amendments

CT GREENWICH — Law Committee approves FY27 budget and retirement board changes. The BET Law Committee unanimously approved the FY27 Law Department budget, proposing reduced spending on West Law books through online research. Chair Stephen Selbst and member Leslie Tarkington voted unanimously to require Retirement Board members be former Town employees, not related benefitting persons, and to add Comptroller Joan Lynch to the selection committee for Fire and Police chief positions.
The Committee unanimously settled Mats Shore v. Town of Greenwich for $13,795.65.
