Greenwich HR Committee approves salary increases, funds police positions

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich HR Committee backs salary hikes, selectively adds police posts amid budget constraints. The committee unanimously approved 2.75 percent raises for management and confidential employees and registrars of voters, while endorsing a $137,864 full-time FOIA Specialist position and a $122,913 conversion of the Property and Evidence Clerk from part-time to full-time. An animal control officer position costing $103,468 was rejected due to budget pressures, failing 0-3-1 against the addition.
