Board approves library technician, launches management pay study

Board of Estimate & Taxation Human Resources Committee · Meeting of May 13, 2026

CT GREENWICH — Greenwich BET HR Committee approves new library position, launches management compensation study. The Committee voted 4-0 to add a full-time Audio-Visual Support Technician to Greenwich Library, funded entirely by the Peterson Foundation endowment with no town cost. Library Director Joe Williams said the position will support expanded programming and a planned recording studio.

In a separate 4-0 vote, the Committee approved a five-person study committee to review management and confidential compensation structures and compare Greenwich pay to comparable municipalities and local employers. The study aims to complete before the FY2027-28 budget cycle.
